A reading from the Book of the Prophet Amos
AM 9:11-15
Thus says the LORD:
On that day I will raise up
the fallen hut of David;
I will wall up its breaches,
raise up its ruins,
and rebuild it as in the days of old,
That they may conquer what is left of Edom
and all the nations that shall bear my name,
say I, the LORD, who will do this.
Yes, days are coming,
says the LORD,
When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,
and the vintager, him who sows the seed;
The juice of grapes shall drip down the mountains,
and all the hills shall run with it.
I will bring about the restoration of my people Israel;
they shall rebuild and inhabit their ruined cities,
Plant vineyards and drink the wine,
set out gardens and eat the fruits.
I will plant them upon their own ground;
never again shall they be plucked
From the land I have given them,
say I, the LORD, your God.
Gospel of The Day
From the Gospel according to Matthew
MT 9:14-17
The disciples of John approached Jesus and said,
“Why do we and the Pharisees fast much,
but your disciples do not fast?”
Jesus answered them, “Can the wedding guests mourn
as long as the bridegroom is with them?
The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them,
and then they will fast.
No one patches an old cloak with a piece of unshrunken cloth,
for its fullness pulls away from the cloak and the tear gets worse.
People do not put new wine into old wineskins.
Otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined.
Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.”

Saturday of Thirteenth Week in Ordinary Time
(Mt 9:14 -17)
God’s Word for Everyone
Dear People of God,
The Word of God today announces to everyone: Jesus Christ is the bridegroom, the light, the God who is to come into the world. It is the presence of Jesus Christ as the Kingdom of Heaven in the midst of the world to be with people.
God’s Word also tells about the power and strength of God of Love is Jesus Christ who always lives and is present in the midst of people. Where Jesus Christ is, the Kingdom of Heaven is present, it’s obvious, there is joy, happiness, peace, no death, mourning and suffering. And where there is joy, there is a wedding feast; and when there is a wedding feast, the bridegroom is present, and the bridegroom is Jesus Christ. At that time, wherever Jesus Christ and his disciples went, the Kingdom of Heaven was present; and when the Kingdom of God is present, there is no fasting there.
That message is proclaimed to all people of the past as well as today: Rejoice with joy in the presence of God in the midst of the world. He is referring to the period of the Holy Spirit’s activity in this age. The Holy Spirit of Love is always active and flexible according to different situations and times. Therefore, God’s work of salvation is at work in the House of God the Father, that is: there is the presence of God, “the Heaven on Earth”, and the place where The Holy Spirit’s activity is manifested through three things: isis
1. The Word of God the Father is written through the hand of Chu Thien Thuong
2. Exorcism
3. Healing
Today, under the action of the Holy Spirit manifested in the very work of the Father’s House, these three works are linked together to continue the public preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is Chu Thien Thuong choosen by God to write the Word of the Father, combined with the people choosen by God in “the Army of Light” going out to preach the Gospel, heal the sick and exorcise the demons.
The word of God today tells everyone: those who know how to open their hearts to receive the Spirit of the Holy Spirit will understand and accept God’s saving work which is being placed in the Father’s House. Today, God also sends people a message: this period is the time of the work of the Holy Spirit that follows the period of public activity of Jesus Christ. This is the time when evangelization calls people to repent because the Kingdom of Heaven is present on this Earth.
Besides, at the time of Jesus Christ’s evangelizing activity, there were also those who persecuted his disciples: Why not fast, while John’s disciples fasted? Today too, in the works of the House of God the Father, there are also those who will persecute Chu Thien Thuong and those in the Army of Light: Why oppose the Church? Why not follow the path of the Church? Why separate from the Church?
But in reality and in truth, the Father’s House is following the True path of God’s Truth, completely not deviating from the ways and teachings of Jesus Christ handed down to the apostles in the past. And the apostles today also continue to obey the command of Jesus Christ to preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God, urging people to repent and return to God the Father.
