GOD’S MESSAGE

MONDAY OF THE TENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME

MEMORIAL OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY, MOTHER OF THE CHURCH

( Jn 19: 25-34 )

06/06/22

READING OF THE DAY

A reading from the Book of Genesis
Gn 3:9-15, 20

After Adam had eaten of the tree,
the LORD God called to him and asked him, “Where are you?”
He answered, “I heard you in the garden;
but I was afraid, because I was naked,
so I hid myself.”
Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked?
You have eaten, then,
from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!”
The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—
she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.”
The LORD God then asked the woman,
“Why did you do such a thing?”
The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”

Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned
from all the animals
and from all the wild creatures;
On your belly shall you crawl,
and dirt shall you eat
all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
He will strike at your head,
while you strike at his heel.”
The man called his wife Eve,
because she became the mother of all the living.

GOSPEL OF THE DAY

From the Gospel according to John
Jn 19:25-34

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother
and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas,
and Mary of Magdala.
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved,
he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.”
Then he said to the disciple,
“Behold, your mother.”
And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
After this, aware that everything was now finished,
in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled,
Jesus said, “I thirst.”
There was a vessel filled with common wine.
So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop
and put it up to his mouth.
When Jesus had taken the wine, he said,
“It is finished.”
And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit.

Now since it was preparation day,
in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath,
for the sabbath day of that week was a solemn one,
the Jews asked Pilate that their legs be broken
and they be taken down.
So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first
and then of the other one who was crucified with Jesus.
But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead,
they did not break his legs,
but one soldier thrust his lance into his side,
and immediately Blood and water flowed out.

MONDAY X ANNUAL

THE Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church

(John 19:25-34)

GOD’S TEACHINGS

Contemplation

Dear People of God,

Standing near the cross of Jesus, were his mother and his beloved disciple. Before taking his last breath on the Cross, Jesus said to his beloved Mother: “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to his beloved disciple, “Behold, your mother”. From that hour, Jesus Christ gave Mary to His whole Church.

The Blessed Mother Mary is the Immaculate Conception, predestined by God from all eternity when He established the work of salvation. She was given the title of “Mother of God” when she pregnant and conceived the Son of God who came to Earth as a human, under the power and miraculous of the Holy Spirit. And throughout the history of the Church, the Holy Spirit allows the Church to know that: Mother is privileged to ascend, both body and soul to heaven, and the title of Our Lady of Everlasting Virginity. Those four privileges, enlightened by the Holy Spirit, open to the Church how God predestined her in the work of salvation.

And in this age, the Holy Spirit has enlightened the Church one more privilege, that is, Mary is the Mother of the Church. These titles are not new to her, but she was chosen and predestined by God from time immemorial. Why is it called Mother Church? Yes, because Jesus Christ established the Church, and He made the Church as the body of Christ; while she was predestined to be the Mother of Jesus, to be the Mother of God, that grace would continue until the second coming of the Lord, which is the end of the work of man’s salvation. When she was named the Mother of the Church, she was also the Mother of each of us. Mary, our Mother, always loves, intercedes with God the Father for all His children. Although she is no longer present in a human body like when she was still on Earth, in the kingdom of God, she always keeps an eye on every moment and accompanies people, conveying her prayers to God so that The Father protects the Church, keeps all the children of God from the power of darkness of the world.

She was sent by God to accompany mankind, as she appeared at Fatima and at Lourdes. She performed the greatest, extraordinary miracles and gave the advice of the Mother of God to people: repent, turn away from your sins and turn to God, diligently say the rosary. That is the weapon that I give to you to fight Satan’s demons. Therefore, I advise all of my children to always carry the rosary with you and pray constantly, do not forget the rosary! Pray the Rosary diligently, for through the prayer of the rosary, God will reveal to man: knowing the will of God, entering into the Saving mystery of Jesus Christ, meditating on  the Life of Christ himself and a part about Mary, through the four seasons: Joy Mystery, Luminous Mystery, Sorrow Mystery, and Glorious Mystery.

She is the Mother of all humanity and she accompanies people. When Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, she asked the Holy Spirit to pour out grace on all the disciples then and today, because her heart was always filled with the grace and spirit of the Holy Spirit. So now, dear beloved children of Mary, listen to my words: “What he tells you, do it.”

Thanks be to God. Amen

God bless you and peace be with you!
