I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. (Jn 14, 6)

Friday of 4th Week of Easter – I am the Way, the Truth & the Life (Jn 14, 6)

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. (Jn 14, 6)

A reading from the Book of the Acts of the Apostles
Acts 13:26-33

When Paul came to Antioch in Pisidia, he said in the synagogue:
“My brothers, children of the family of Abraham,
and those others among you who are God-fearing,
to us this word of salvation has been sent.
The inhabitants of Jerusalem and their leaders failed to recognize him,
and by condemning him they fulfilled the oracles of the prophets
that are read sabbath after sabbath.
For even though they found no grounds for a death sentence,
they asked Pilate to have him put to death,
and when they had accomplished all that was written about him,
they took him down from the tree and placed him in a tomb.
But God raised him from the dead,
and for many days he appeared to those
who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem.
These are now his witnesses before the people.
We ourselves are proclaiming this good news to you
that what God promised our fathers
he has brought to fulfillment for us, their children, by raising up Jesus,
as it is written in the second psalm,
You are my Son; this day I have begotten you.”

From the Gospel according to John
Jn 14:1-6

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You have faith in God; have faith also in me.
In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places.
If there were not,
would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back again and take you to myself,
so that where I am you also may be.
Where I am going you know the way.”
Thomas said to him,
“Master, we do not know where you are going;
how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”

FRIDAY of IV WEEK of Easter

(John 14:1-6)

God’s Teaching

Contemplation

Dear People of God,

Jesus said to His disciples: “Do not let your hearts be troubled! Believe in God and believe in Me.” Jesus invites His disciples to trust, entrust, trust in God.

God is a source of immense love. He always opens his arms to embrace his disciples, and he always brings happiness and peace to the disciples who follow him. He is the very source of peace, where there is no pain and no sin. But because of love, he obeyed the Father and came down to earth to save people by sacrificing his life to save all kinds of people. “Love is stronger than death”. His death has the value of saving everyone in the world, without exception. He also said: “I am the way, the truth and the life”. The Lord invites his disciples, as well as all those who want to have eternal happy life, to walk in the way that Jesus walked: the way of righteousness, charity, and love.

Live according to God’s instructions and you will firmly walk in the path of Jesus Christ; for it is only through Jesus Christ that we come to God the Father, who is the source of eternal life; and Jesus became an example of a life of sacrifice, a life of love for people to follow. He invites everyone to look up to the example of the love of Jesus who died on the cross. Follow the example of Jesus and you will be with God the Father in Heaven.

God invites everyone to listen to the admonition of Mother Fatima: “Pray the Rosary diligently to save souls”. I will accept those who love Our Lady and diligently pray the Rosary. Because through the prayer of the rosary, it helps people to meditate on the life of Jesus Christ; who wants to enter the Kingdom of Heaven must go through Jesus Christ, He is the way to the Father, to the Kingdom of Heaven. That is God’s word for the Mother to know to remind and call all God’s children. Let’s live and practice what God commands, and do what Our Lady of Fatima calls people.

Thanks be to God. Amen.

Jesus, I love You!
Jesus, I trust in you!

God bless you and peace be with you!
